Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School (TBSSS) offers a unique opportunity for corporate and private groups to engage in the enriching experience of sculpture. Our corporate and group workshops offer participants a chance to explore the world of sculpture, whilst providing a perfect blend of creativity, learning, personal expression and fun.

Customisable Workshop Experience

Each workshop is customisable to meet the specific needs and goals of the group. Whether you’re a business looking to enhance team cohesion or a group of friends seeking a creative experience, TBSSS will provide a tailored workshop that aligns with your objectives.

Location: Workshops can be held onsite in our fully equipped Studio in Erskineville, or you may prefer our teachers come to you.

Please note, if you are considering holding your corporate or group workshop at your own site, there will be an added cost for this option. It is also important to know that sculpture is a fun and messy business; you will also need plenty of space for participants to get creative.

Length: The length of the workshop is fully customisable, whether you’d like a two hour experience, half day or whole day of creativity – the choice is yours! Please note that all workshops will need a minimum of two hours.

Number of Participants: Workshops can be run for 10 – 20 participants on site at our Studio in Erskineville, or for 10 – 50 participants at a suitable offsite location.

Cost: As workshops are fully customisable, costs will vary for each workshop. Costs include teaching staff, life model (if you choose this option) and all materials.

Potential Workshop Activities

  • Introduction to Sculpting Techniques: Learn the basics of sculpting, using clay, stone, or other materials.
  • Collaborative Sculpture Projects: Work together to create a group sculpture that represents collective ideas and creativity.
  • Working from a Life Model: Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this course gives the opportunity to work with a life model on small scale clay ‘studies’.
