A quick, intensive, three-day workshop modelling from life in clay. Suitable for all levels, this course will give beginners the chance to work on their knowledge of proportion, anatomy and form. While more advanced students will have the chance to explore compositions and gesture, developing their own sculptural language in clay.
The first day of the workshop will include life drawing, and completing a series of quick “sketches” in clay using a life model. In the following two days we will settle on a single pose to develop a more resolved sculpture. This class will offer the option to work without using an armature, giving participants the option to either fire or cast their finished sculptures in their own time, if they so choose.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
