For Term 1, 2026, this term workshop will run for 9 weeks and students attend a 3 hour workshop each week. These workshops are for all skill levels and aim to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of all aspects of creating sculpture in a range of media. Students are encouraged to create works they want, Teachers are there to give guidance and advice when necessary. Students can start on any term throughout the year.

What you will create
Frames tangible results, especially important for creative disciplines:
- Depending on the complexity of your sculpture, you may finish your sculpture in a single term, or it may take multiple terms. Your teacher will be able to guide you.
- You will learn skills to start or advance your personal sculpting practice
- You will gain confidence working independently in various sculptural media
- You will learn practical knowledge of studio processes
Meet Your Teacher – Christine Crimmins
Christine Crimmins has been teaching at Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School since 2012, she teaches the Tuesday EVE and Wednesday EVE Workshops. Christine was increasingly drawn to the world of painting, drawing and sculpture, after earlier having followed a professional path. She experienced 3 months in Sienna, Italy, studying painting and language and then gained a diploma from the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney, studying also at the Warringah Print Workshop.
