It is with great regret that the TBSSS Board announced the temporary closure of our school on Tuesday 24 March 2020.
It has been very challenging to know what is the right thing to do, and how to support our community in their love for making sculpture. But in light of the Government’s closure of non-essential services, and the need to play our part in practising social distancing, we have decided that temporary closure is the most appropriate course. This has been confirmed by further directives over the past weekend.
Over the Easter break we will reconsider how we can continue to support our staff, teachers and students into the next period of Term Two and/or beyond. It does, however, seem likely that restrictions will be in place for some time.
The TBSSS Office will be in touch as soon as we have further information as to when the Studio will be able to re-open. For the time being Mel and William will be working remotely – so will be contactable via email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We wish everybody in our community the very best during this difficult period. We are positive about our future, and will be here as soon as it is safe to commence classes again. Please stay safe!
