This intensive life study class offers students the unique opportunity to make a study of the nude in a single extended pose. The human body is one of the most challenging, eloquent and time honoured subjects for the exploration of artistic expression. Jenny will be inviting students to think about how they might push their work towards a deeper expression of the human spirit, encouraging them to create work that goes beyond the anatomical representation of the body.
This is an Open Workshop intensive which will be run by TBSSS teacher Wendy Black. This workshop is for recent or previously enrolled students – not suitable for new students. Students have the chance to work on any project they choose and in the media of their choosing. It may be a new project or it could be a sculpture that you are already working on. These two days are a wonderful chance to have uninterrupted Studio time over the autumn break! Places are limited.
