Sculptures in the Garden has been running in Mudgee since 2011 and is an annual 16-day sculpture exhibition that brings together established and emerging sculptors from across Australia to showcase their work. We were thrilled to see so many students, friends and family, and members of the public present. This year the exhibition featured 60 sculptures completed by students over the past year, everything from the abstract to the figure, animals and reliefs, works in plaster and bronze, sculptures carved in alabaster, limestone and marble. Presented at the Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf, the exhibition features 51 finalists representing a mix of emerging and established artists from across Australia as well as international artists from the USA, United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
